The New(er) Dark Ages?
Not that I support pirating; but nuking the internet, or attempting to make it serve just a few masters, is no solution. In the immortal words of the Isley Brothers...and Public Enemy..."Fight the Power!"
Same problem right here with the Hadopi law on copyright and the Internet spy programs to contrĂ´l the peo^ple and reduce our acess to sharing things on the Net. The major didn't get it the World has change and they're no way to go back in the 80's
